Issues related to development of fisheries cover a broad canvas from catch to consumer and demands involvement of various stakeholders. Any development in fisheries infrastructure triggers further economic growth in other related sectors without concomitant investments.

Principal areas of development activities undertaken by KSCADC are facilitation of cold chain infrastructure, conservation of fish resources, management of fish waste, value addition, construction of Matsya Vignan Kendras and livelihood support for fisher folk.
